Swiss wildcard Dominic Stricker won against Frenchman Arthur Fils 7-6 (4), 7-6 (4) to advance to the second round of the Swiss Open at the Roy Emerson Arena in Gstaad.
Stricker, ranked No 106, will play second seed Miomir Kecmanovic next.
