Norwegian Casper Ruud, the top seed, won against Czech Jiri Lehecka 6-3, 6-4 to advance to the last eight of the Swiss Open at the Roy Emerson Arena in Gstaad on Thursday. Ruud, ranked No 5, will play Spaniard Jaume Munar next.
Lehecka, ranked No 65, defeated Argentinian Tomas Martin Etcheverry (6-1, 6-3) in the previous round of the Gstaad.
