Swiss Open: Etcheverry reaches quarter-finals
Tomas Martin Etcheverry beat Botic van de Zandschulp 6-2, 2-6, 6-3 on Wednesday afternoon and will face the winner of the match between German Jan-Lennard Struff, the No 5 seed, and Swiss wildcard Leandro Riedi in the next round
Argentinian Tomas Martin Etcheverry, the No 4 seed, won against Dutchman Botic van de Zandschulp 6-2, 2-6, 6-3 to advance to the last eight of the Swiss Open at the Roy Emerson Arena.
Etcheverry, ranked No 32, will face the winner of the match between German Jan-Lennard Struff, the No 5 seed, and Swiss wildcard Leandro Riedi next.
Van De Zandschulp, ranked No 87, defeated Swiss wildcard Dominic Stricker (6-3, 6-3) in the previous round of the Gstaad tournament.
