Swiss Open: Cachin moves into last four with straight-sets win over Munar

Argentinian Pedro Cachin advanced to the last four of the Swiss Open by winning against Spaniard Jaume Munar 6-3, 6-3 at the Roy Emerson Arena in Gstaad on Friday evening.
Cachin, ranked No 90, will face the winner of the match between German Yannick Hanfmann, the No 4 seed, and Serb qualifier Hamad Medjedovic next.

The Argentinian beat Japanese Taro Daniel (6-4, 6-1) and Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut, the top seed (7-6 (4), 7-6 (3)) in the previous rounds of the Gstaad tournament.
Earlier in the tournament, Munar, ranked No 110, won against Swiss wildcard Alexander Ritschard (6-3, 6-3) and Swiss Stan Wawrinka (7-6 (3), 6-1).
