Belgian qualifier Zizou Bergs advanced to the second round of the Swiss Open by beating Serb Laslo Djere, the No 8 seed, 6-0, 4-6, 6-3 at the Roy Emerson Arena in Gstaad on Monday.
Bergs, ranked No 175, will face the winner of the match between Swiss Marc-Andrea Huesler and Austrian qualifier Jurij Rodionov next.
