Swiss Indoors: Rune fights back to beat Kecmanovic and make the second round

Holger Rune, the top seed, advanced to the second round of the Swiss Indoors by defeating Serb Miomir Kecmanovic 1-6, 7-5, 6-3 at the Halle Saint-Jacques in Basel.

The Dane avenged the defeat he suffered to Kecmanovic in the first round of his title defence at the Stockholm Open last week, battling back from a set down in Basel to clinch a much-needed win.

Rune, ranked No 6, will face Argentinian Sebastian Baez next.
