Russian Andrey Rublev, the top seed, reached the second round of the Swiss Indoors by beating Portuguese Nuno Borges 6-3, 6-2 at the St. Jakobshalle. in Basel on Monday evening.
Rublev, ranked No 7, will play the winner of the match between Croat Marin Cilic and Chilean Alejandro Tabilo next.
