Swiss Indoors: Shapovalov eases past Shang to book spot in second round
Denis Shapovalov beat Juncheng Shang 6-1, 6-4 and will play the winner of the match between Roberto Bautista Agut and Casper Ruud in the next round

Canadian wildcard Denis Shapovalov won against Chinese Juncheng Shang 6-1, 6-4 to move into the second round of the Swiss Indoors at the St. Jakobshalle in Basel.
Shapovalov, ranked No 95, will play the winner of the match between Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut and Norwegian Casper Ruud, the second seed, next.
