Stuttgart Open: Struff edges past Rinderknech to move into last eight
Jan-Lennard Struff beat Arthur Rinderknech 6-4, 7-6 on Thursday and will play American Brandon Nakashima in the next round

German Jan-Lennard Struff, the No 7 seed, moved into the last eight of the Stuttgart Open by defeating Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech 6-4, 7-6 at Tennisclub Weissenhof Stuttgart.
Struff, ranked No 35, will play American Brandon Nakashima next.
Ahead of his victory, the 34-year-old German won against Italian Flavio Cobolli (7-6 (7), 6-3).
Rinderknech, ranked No 67, beat American Alex Michelsen (6-4, 7-5) in the previous round of the Stuttgart tournament.
