Stuttgart Open: Bonzi makes quarter-finals
Benjamin Bonzi is through to the last eight with a straight sets win over Arthur Rinderknech and will play against German Oscar Otte or Canadian Denis Shapovalov in the next round

France’s Benjamin Bonzi reached the quarter-finals of the Stuttgart Open by defeating Arthur Rinderknech 7-6 [3], 6-2 at Tennis Club Weissenhof on Wednesday.
Bonzi needed one hour and 14 minutes for win. The Frenchman also saved all seven breakpoints that he faced against his serve during the contest.
Bonzi, ranked No 58, will face the winner of the clash between German Oscar Otte and Canadian Denis Shapovalov next.
Earlier in the tournament, Bonzi defeated Spaniard wildcard Feliciano López (6-4, 6-1).
