Casper Ruud defeated Lorenzo Sonego 6-3, 7-6 (3) on Wednesday evening. He’ll play Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor, the No 7 seed, in the next round

Norwegian Casper Ruud, the second seed, won against Italian Lorenzo Sonego 6-3, 7-6 (3) to advance to the last 8 of the Stockholm Open at the Kungliga Tennishallen.
Ruud, ranked No 8, will face Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor, the No 7 seed, next.
Sonego, ranked No 50, beat Swiss qualifier Marc-Andrea Huesler (7-6 (1), 7-5) in the previous round of the Stockholm tournament.
