Stockholm Open: Monfils eases into quarters

Frenchman Gael Monfils reached the last 8 of the Stockholm Open by winning against Austrian qualifier Filip Misolic 6-4, 6-3 at the Kungliga Tennishallen on Thursday afternoon.
Monfils, ranked No 140, will face Frenchman Adrian Mannarino, the second seed, next.
The 37-year-old Frenchman edged out Hungarian Marton Fucsovics (2-6, 6-2, 7-5) in the previous round.
Misolic, ranked No 181, defeated No 8 seed Daniel Evans (6-4, 7-6 (1)).
