Sofia Open: Vukic books spot in second round defeating Fognini

Australian Aleksandar Vukic won against Italian Fabio Fognini 7-6 (11), 7-5 to reach the second round of the Sofia Open at the Arena Armeec Sofia on Tuesday evening.

Vukic, ranked No 144, will face the winner of the match between Spaniard Fernando Verdasco and Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili, the No 6 seed, next.
