Frenchman Adrian Mannarino, the second seed, reached the quarter-finals of the Sofia Open by winning against Spaniard Albert Ramos-Vinolas 6-4, 6-4 on Wednesday.
Mannarino, ranked No 25, will face the winner of the match between Austrian Sebastian Ofner, the No 7 seed, and Australian Christopher O’Connell next.
Ramos-Vinolas, ranked No 94, beat Roberto Carballes Baena (7-5, 4-6, 6-3) in the previous round.
