Sofia Open: World No 334 Lazarov wins his first ATP match against Lehecka

Bulgarian wildcard Alexandar Lazarov beat Czech Jiri Lehecka, world No 74, 7-5, 6-3 to advance to the second round of the Sofia Open at the Arena Armeec Sofia on Monday evening.

Lazarov, ranked No 334 and aged 24, is playing only his fourth ATP event main draw. That is his first victory at this level. He will face No 4 seed Lorenzo Musetti next.
