Sofia Open: Rune moves into quarter-finals
Holger Rune beat Lorenzo Sonego 6-7 (1), 6-4, 6-3 on Thursday. He’ll face Belarusian Ilya Ivashka in the next round

Dane Holger Rune, the No 5 seed, won against Italian Lorenzo Sonego 6-7 (1), 6-4, 6-3 to advance to the quarter-finals of the Sofia Open at the Arena Armeec Sofia on Thursday.
Rune, ranked No 31, will face Belarusian Ilya Ivashka next.
The 19-year-old Dane beat Dutchman Tim van Rijthoven (7-6 (2), 7-6 (6)) in the previous round of the Sofia.
In the first round of the Sofia, Sonego, ranked No 45, defeated Spaniard Bernabe Zapata Miralles (6-3, 6-4).
