Shanghai Masters: Dimitrov continues good form with win Khachanov

Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, the No 18 seed, moved into the last 16 of the Shanghai Masters by beating Russian Karen Khachanov, the No 13 seed, 7-6 (6), 6-4 at the Qi Zhong Stadium on Monday night.

Dimitrov, ranked No 19, will play the winner of the match between Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, the top seed, and No 30 seed Daniel Evans next.

The Bulgarian won against Australian Aleksandar Vukic (6-4, 6-3) in the previous round of the Shanghai tournament.

In the previous round of the Shanghai tournament, Khachanov, ranked No 14, won against Kazakh qualifier Beibit Zhukayev (7-6 (1), 4-6, 6-2).
