American Mackenzie McDonald won against Dutch wildcard Botic van de Zandschulp 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 to advance to the second round of the’s-Hertogenbosch Open at the Autotron Rosmalen on Tuesday.
McDonald, ranked No 74, will face the winner of the match between Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor, the No 6 seed, and Serb Miomir Kecmanovic next.
