Arthur Fils advanced to the second round of the’s-Hertogenbosch Open by defeating Arthur Cazaux 6-4, 6-4 at the Autotron Rosmalen on Tuesday afternoon.

Fils, ranked No 38, will face No 3 seed Ugo Humbert next.
