Rune out in Rotterdam as Shevchenko stuns Dane to reach last eight

Kazakh Alexander Shevchenko moved into the quarter-finals of the Rotterdam Open by beating Dane Holger Rune, the No 3 seed, 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 at the Rotterdam Ahoy.
Shevchenko, ranked No 57, will face Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, the No 6 seed, next.
The Kazakh won against Chinese Zhizhen Zhang (4-6, 6-4, 6-3) ahead of his victory.
In the previous round of the Rotterdam tournament, Rune, ranked No 7, defeated Russian Roman Safiullin (6-4, 2-6, 6-1).
