World No 8 Holger Rune has announced that Severin Luthi, the former long-time coach of Roger Federer, will be part of his team. Luthi joins six-time Grand Slam champion Boris Becker on the Dane’s coaching team.
“Very happy to welcome Severin to my team alongside Boris 🤩,” Rune wrote on X/ Twitter earlier today.
Rune’s addition of Luthi comes just two months after he appointed Becker. The Dane will look to build on his 2023 season, which saw him reach No 4 in the world rankings before he finishing the season as world No 8 and qualifying for the season-ending ATP Finals in November for the first time in his career.
