Rublev equals career-high at No 5; Hurkacz up to 11 after Shanghai win – ATP rankings update
The Russian moved back up to No 5 after reaching the final in Shanghai
Andrey Rublev may have missed out on winning what would have been his second Masters 1000 title at the weekend in Shanghai but the Russian was rewarded for his efforts in the updated ATP rankings.
The 25-year-old moved up two places to No 5, equalling his career-high, set in September.
The man he lost to in Shanghai – Hubert Hurkacz – was the biggest mover inside the top 20, climbing six places to No 11, just two short of his own career-high.
Novak Djokovic remains world No 1, with a lead of well over 2,000 points from Carlos Alcaraz. This week will be Djokovic’s 395th week at the top, extending his record every week.
Seb Korda moved up three places to No 23 after making the semi-finals in Shanghai (also losing out to Hurkacz), while Arthur Fils (38) also reached his career-high ranking.
