Rotterdam Open: Struff battles past Davidovich Fokina to make second round
Jan-Lennard Struff beat Davidovich Fokina 4-6, 7-6 (5), 7-6 (4) and will play the winner of the match between Ruusuvuori and Ugo Humbert in the next round

German Jan-Lennard Struff edged out Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina 4-6, 7-6 (5), 7-6 (4) to move into the second round of the Rotterdam Open at the Rotterdam Ahoy.
Struff, ranked No 25, will face the winner of the match between Finn Emil Ruusuvuori and Frenchman Ugo Humbert, the No 7 seed, next.
