Rotterdam Open: De Minaur books spot in semi-finals

Australian Alex De Minaur, the No 3 seed, advanced to the last four of the Rotterdam Open by winning against German lucky loser Daniel Altmaier 6-1, 6-4 at the Rotterdam Ahoy on Friday.
De Minaur, ranked No 8, will face the winner of the match between Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, the No 6 seed, and Italian qualifier Mattia Bellucci next.
The Australian beat Belgian David Goffin (6-2, 6-4) and Jakub Mensik (6-4, 6-4) earlier in the week.
In the previous rounds of the tournament, Altmaier, ranked No 93, defeated American Aleksandar Kovacevic (1-6, 6-4, 6-3) and edged out Frenchman Arthur Fils, the No 7 seed (6-4, 3-6, 7-5).
