Rome Masters: Zhang into third round
Zhizhen Zhang beat Adrian Mannarino 6-1, 6-3 on Friday afternoon and will face the winner of the match between American Ben Shelton, the No 12 seed, and Russian Pavel Kotov in the next round

Chinese Zhizhen Zhang won against Frenchman Adrian Mannarino, the No 19 seed, 6-1, 6-3 to move into the third round of the Rome Masters at the Foro Italico in Rome on Friday.
Zhang, ranked No 56, will play the winner of the match between American Ben Shelton, the No 12 seed, and Russian Pavel Kotov next.
Ahead of his victory, the Chinese beat Colombian Daniel Elahi Galan (6-2, 7-5).
