Rome Masters: Sonego into third round, could face Tsitsipas next
Lorenzo Sonego won against Yoshihito Nishioka 7-5, 6-3 on Saturday and will face the winner of the match between Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, the No 5 seed, and Portuguese Nuno Borges in the next round

Italian Lorenzo Sonego reached the third round of the Rome Masters by defeating Japanese Yoshihito Nishioka, the No 25 seed, 7-5, 6-3 at the Foro Italico on Saturday.
Sonego, ranked No 48, will face the winner of the match between Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, the No 5 seed, and Portuguese Nuno Borges next.
The Italian won against Frenchman Jeremy Chardy (6-2, 6-1) ahead of his victory.
