Rome Masters: Kecmanovic knocks out fifth seed Ruud to advance to third round
Miomir Kecmanovic edged out Casper Ruud 0-6, 6-4, 6-4 on Friday evening. He’ll face Brazilian qualifier Thiago Monteiro in the next round

Serb Miomir Kecmanovic edged out Norwegian Casper Ruud, the No 5 seed, 0-6, 6-4, 6-4 to move into the third round of the Rome Masters at the Foro Italico in Roma on Friday evening.
Kecmanovic, ranked No 58, will face Brazilian qualifier Thiago Monteiro next.
It was revenge for Ruud’s straight-sets win over him at Madrid two weeks ago.
The Serb defeated American qualifier Brandon Nakashima (6-4, 6-4) ahead of his victory.
