Rome Masters: French qualifier Atmane makes third round as Musetti retires
Terence Atmane benefited from the abandonment of Lorenzo Musetti (7-5, 1-0) on Friday and will play the winner of the match between Japanese Yoshihito Nishioka and Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, the No 8 seed, in the next round

French qualifier Terence Atmane reached the third round of the Rome Masters when Italian Lorenzo Musetti, the No 26 seed, retired at the Foro Italico in Rome on Friday.
Atmane, ranked No 137, led 7-5, 1-0 when Musetti, ranked No 29, pulled out on Friday at the Foro Italico in Rome, having struggled to overcome a virus in recent days.
The 22-year-old Frenchman will face the winner of the match between Japanese Yoshihito Nishioka and Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov, the No 8 seed, next.
Terence Atmane won against American Christopher Eubanks (6-4, 6-4) in the previous round of the Italian Open.
