Shanghai Masters: Safiullin advances to third round
Roman Safiullin won against Alexander Bublik on Monday. He’ll play the winner of the match between Frances Tiafoe and Chinese wildcard Zhou Yi next

Russian Roman Safiullin advanced to the third round of the Shanghai Masters by winning against Kazakh Alexander Bublik, the No 23 seed, 6-4, 6-2 at the Qi Zhong Tennis Center on Monday.
Safiullin, ranked No 61, will play the winner of the match between American Frances Tiafoe, the No 13 seed, and Chinese wildcard Zhou Yi next.
The Russian defeated Kazakh qualifier Beibit Zhukayev (7-6, 6-4) ahead of his victory.
