Shanghai Masters: Goffin sets up meeting with Musetti in second round

Belgian David Goffin won against Australian James Duckworth 6-4, 6-2 to advance to the second round of the Shanghai Masters at the Qi Zhong Tennis Center on Thursday.

Goffin, ranked No 65, will face No 15 seed Lorenzo Musetti next. He hasn’t been able to register a win against Musetti in their two meetings on the ATP Tour thus far.

Musetti reached the second round on the back of a bye in the first.
