Rolex Paris Masters order of play, Tuesday: Ruud-Jodar could send Cobolli to Turin
Ninth seed Rafael Jodar faces Casper Ruud in the night session, not before 8:30 p.m., and a Ruud win would send Flavio Cobolli to the ATP Finals. Ben Shelton plays Cameron Norrie first, after Novak Djokovic meets Valentin Vacherot on Court Central.

The first round of the Rolex Paris Masters ends on Tuesday, November 3, with 11 singles matches, and the second round starts with two more. Surprisingly, the two most eagerly awaited matches of the day will not be played under the lights: on Court Central, 17-year-old Frenchman Moise Kouame, fresh from his first Challenger title, faces lucky loser Nuno Borges, who replaces 13th seed Alejandro Davidovich Fokina (back), followed by seven-time champion Novak Djokovic against Basel champion Valentin Vacherot, both in the day session. Tommy Paul plays 2022 champion Holger Rune on Court 1, while the night session belongs to Ben Shelton and Casper Ruud, who face Cameron Norrie and Rafael Jodar in the second round. Five French players are in singles action.

Tuesday’s key matches at the Rolex Paris Masters
Djokovic, who holds the record with seven titles at the event, plays in Paris for the first time since 2023 and closes the day session on Court Central against Vacherot, who won the Basel title on Sunday. Eleventh in the Race to Turin, the Serbian needs at least the semi-finals to stay in contention for the Nitto ATP Finals. The winner will face qualifier Rinky Hijikata in the second round.
On Court 1, Paul, also in the race for Turin, meets Rune, back in Paris on a protected ranking. The winner will play Daniel Merida. Before them, 15th seed Learner Tien faces lucky loser Adolfo Daniel Vallejo, who replaces Stefanos Tsitsipas (right shoulder).
Five French players in action on Tuesday
Arthur Rinderknech opens the day on Court Central against 16th seed Francisco Cerundolo, with qualifier Mattia Bellucci waiting in the second round. He is followed by Moise Kouame, 17, who won the Brest Challenger on Sunday and now faces lucky loser Nuno Borges after the withdrawal of 13th seed Alejandro Davidovich Fokina.
On Court 1, Quentin Halys starts against Arthur Fery for a place against seventh seed Frances Tiafoe. Benjamin Bonzi, the only French qualifier, plays 11th seed Taylor Fritz, and wildcard Arthur Gea closes the court against Jan-Lennard Struff. The winner will face lucky loser Thiago Agustin Tirante, who replaced Flavio Cobolli in the draw.
Tuesday night session: Shelton and Jodar start their second round
The night session starts not before 7 p.m. with third seed Ben Shelton against Cameron Norrie, who beat Matteo Arnaldi on Monday. Ninth seed Rafael Jodar then closes the day, not before 8:30 p.m., against Casper Ruud. Ninth in the Race to Turin, Jodar needs to keep winning to hold off Alex de Minaur, who starts on Wednesday.
