Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and Stefanos Tsitsipas have withdrawn from the singles draw of the Rolex Paris Masters, the tournament announced on Tuesday morning. The 13th seed pulled out with a back problem, and Tsitsipas with a right shoulder injury.
Following a draw, they are replaced by lucky losers Nuno Borges and Adolfo Daniel Vallejo respectively.
Kouame now faces Borges, Tien takes on Vallejo
The withdrawal of Davidovich Fokina changes the first-round match of Moise Kouame. The 17-year-old French wildcard, who won the Brest Challenger on Sunday, will play Borges instead of the 13th seed. The winner will face Karen Khachanov in the second round.
In the top quarter of the draw, 15th seed Learner Tien will play Vallejo rather than Tsitsipas. The winner will meet Frenchman Luca Van Assche in the second round, in the section of top seed Alexander Zverev.
