Rio Open: Francisco Cerundolo powers into second round
Francisco Cerundolo beat Roberto Carballes Baena 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 on Tuesday evening and will play the winner of the match between Jaume Munar and Bernabe Zapata Miralles in the next round

Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo, the No 4 seed, moved into the second round of the Rio Open by defeating Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 at the Jockey Club Brasileiro in Rio de Janeiro on Tuesday evening.
Cerundolo, ranked No 33, will face the winner of the match between Jaume Munar and Bernabe Zapata Miralles next.
