Rio Open: Barrios Vera through to second round
Tomas Barrios Vera won against Gustavo Heide 7-5, 6-3 on Monday evening. He’ll play the winner of the match between Hugo Dellien and second seed Cameron Norrie in the next round

Chilean Tomas Barrios Vera defeated Brazilian wildcard Gustavo Heide 7-5, 6-3 to move into the second round of the Rio Open at the Jockey Club Brasileiro in Rio de Janeiro on Monday evening.
Barrios Vera, ranked No 120, will play the winner of the match between Hugo Dellien and second seed Cameron Norrie next.
