Queen’s: Norrie recovers to beat Thompson to reach quarter-finals
Cameron Norrie beat Jordan Thompson 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 on Wednesday and will face the winner of the match between No 4 seed Frances Tiafoe and Sebastian Korda in the next round
Fifth seed Cameron Norrie advanced to the quarter-finals of the cinch Championships by defeating Australian Jordan Thompson 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 at Queen’s Club in London on Wednesday.
Norrie, ranked No 13, will face the winner of the match between No 4 seed Frances Tiafoe and Sebastian Korda next.

Ahead of his victory, Cameron Norrie won against Serb Miomir Kecmanovic (6-4, 7-6 (5)).
Thompson, ranked No 76, won against lucky loser Alexei Popyrin (6-4, 6-4) in the previous round of the Queen’s Championships.
