Queen’s: Fritz sees off Raonic to reach quarter-finals

American Taylor Fritz, the No 4 seed, defeated Canadian Milos Raonic 7-6 (5), 6-4 to reach the last eight of the cinch Championships at Queen’s Club in London on Wednesday.
Fritz, ranked No 12, will play Australian Jordan Thompson next.
The American won against Japanese qualifier Taro Daniel (6-3, 6-3) ahead of his victory.
In the previous round of the Queen’s tournament, Raonic, ranked No 186, edged out Cameron Norrie (6-7 (6), 6-3, 7-6 (9)).
