Queen’s: Alcaraz gets past qualifier Dimitrov in straight sets, through to semi-finals
Carlos Alcaraz defeated Grigor Dimitrov 6-4, 6-4 on Friday evening and will play American Sebastian Korda in the next round
Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, the top seed, advanced to the semi-finals of the Queen’s by winning against Bulgarian qualifier Grigor Dimitrov 6-4, 6-4 at Queen’s Club in London on Friday evening.
Alcaraz, ranked No 2, will play American Sebastian Korda next.

The 20-year-old Spaniard edged out French lucky loser Arthur Rinderknech (4-6, 7-5, 7-6 (3)) and defeated Czech Jiri Lehecka (6-2, 6-3) ahead of his victory.
Earlier in the tournament, Dimitrov, ranked No 26, beat Finn Emil Ruusuvuori (6-2, 6-4) and Argentinian Francisco Cerundolo, the No 8 seed (6-3, 7-5).
