Qatar Open: Ruusuvuori upends sixth seed Evans to reach second round

Finn Emil Ruusuvuori won against No 6 seed Daniel Evans 7-5, 6-4 to advance to the second round of the Qatar Open at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex in Doha on Tuesday.

Ruusuvuori, ranked No 51, will face the winner of the match between Bosnian qualifier Damir Dzumhur and Czech Jiri Lehecka next.
