Portuguese Open: Kecmanovic moves into last eight, drops one game v Rodionov
Miomir Kecmanovic beat Jurij Rodionov 6-0, 6-1 on Thursday. He’ll play the winner of the match between Spaniard Bernabe Zapata Miralles and Pole Hubert Hurkacz, the second seed, in the next round
Serb Miomir Kecmanovic, the No 6 seed, moved into the last 8 of the Portuguese Open by winning against Austrian Jurij Rodionov 6-0, 6-1 at Clube de Ténis do Estoril on Thursday.
Kecmanovic, ranked No 40, will play the winner of the match between Spaniard Bernabe Zapata Miralles and Pole Hubert Hurkacz, the second seed, next.
The Serb defeated Italian Luca Nardi (6-4, 6-1) ahead of his victory.
In the previous round of the Estoril Open, Rodionov, ranked No 120, edged out Spaniard Albert Ramos-Vinolas (3-6, 6-1, 6-4).
