Paris Masters: Rublev moves into semi-finals against Djokovic, De Minaur will not play the ATP Finals
Andrey Rublev beat Alex De Minaur 4-6, 6-3, 6-1 on Friday night and will play Serb Novak Djokovic, the top seed, in the next round
Russian Andrey Rublev, the No 5 seed, beat Australian Alex De Minaur, the No 13 seed, 4-6, 6-3, 6-1 to advance to the last four of Paris Masters at the Accor Arena on Friday night, at 1:00 am in the morning.
Rublev, ranked No 5, will face Serb Novak Djokovic, the top seed, next, who defeated Holger Rune earlier.
This result rules out Alex De Minaur from the ATP Finals Race.
De Minaur, ranked No 13, defeated Andy Murray (7-6 (5), 4-6, 7-5), Serb lucky loser Dusan Lajovic (4-6, 6-4, 6-4) and Italian Jannik Sinner, the No 4 seed (W/O) earlier in the tournament.
