Paris Masters: Qualifier Nishioka reaches second round, faces Rublev next

Japanese qualifier Yoshihito Nishioka beat Australian lucky loser Jordan Thompson 7-6 (5), 4-6, 6-2 to reach the second round of Paris Masters at the Accor Arena on Monday evening.

Nishioka, ranked No 49, will face No 5 seed Andrey Rublev next.
