Outstanding Humbert stuns Alcaraz to storm into Paris Masters quarter-finals
The Frenchman toppled world No 1 Carlos Alcaraz 6-1, 3-6, 7-5 in front of delirious home support to reach the last eight of the Paris Masters in dazzling style

Frenchman Ugo Humbert, the No 15 seed, moved into the last eight of Paris Masters by edging out Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, the second seed, 6-1, 3-6, 7-5 at the Accor Arena.
Humbert, ranked No 18, will face Australian Jordan Thompson next.
Ahead of his victory, the Frenchman edged out American Brandon Nakashima (6-3, 4-6, 6-4) and defeated American qualifier Marcos Giron (6-3, 6-2).
Alcaraz, ranked No 2, won against Chilean Nicolas Jarry (7-5, 6-1) in the previous round of the Paris-Bercy tournament.
