Fritz moves into Paris second round, sets up potential clash with Murray

American Taylor Fritz, the No 9 seed, defeated Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina 7-5, 6-2 to move into the second round of Paris Masters at the Accor Arena on Monday.

Fritz, ranked No 11, will face the winner of the match between Andy Murray and French wildcard Gilles Simon next.
