Paris Masters: Ninth seed Fritz books spot in second round
Taylor Fritz won against Sebastian Baez 6-1, 6-4 on Monday evening and will face the winner of the match between German Daniel Altmaier and Frenchman Arthur Fils in the next round
American Taylor Fritz, the No 9 seed, defeated Argentinian Sebastian Baez 6-1, 6-4 to reach the second round of Paris Masters at the Accor Arena on Monday evening – his 54th win of the season.
Fritz, ranked No 10, will face the winner of the match between German Daniel Altmaier and Frenchman Arthur Fils next.
