Paris Masters: Fils moves into last 16

Frenchman Arthur Fils won against German Jan-Lennard Struff 6-3, 6-4 to move into the last 16 of Paris Masters at the Accor Arena on Wednesday.

Fils, ranked No 20, will face the winner of the match between German Alexander Zverev, the No 3 seed, and Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor next.

The 20-year-old Frenchman defeated Croat Marin Cilic (7-6 (5), 6-4) in the previous round of the Paris-Bercy tournament.

In the previous round of the Paris-Bercy tournament, Struff, ranked No 42, won against Italian Lorenzo Musetti, the No 16 seed (6-4, 6-2).
