Paris Masters: Dimitrov moves into second round, sets up Medvedev clash

Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov reached the second round of Paris Masters by winning against Italian Lorenzo Musetti 6-2, 6-7 (4), 6-3 at the Accor Arena on Monday evening.

The Bulgarian has won every single opening-round match he has played at the Paris Masters, now with an 11-0 record, and he has also won 19 of his 21 opening-round matches this year.

Dimitrov, ranked No 17, will play No 3 seed Daniil Medvedev next – the man he played in the second round of Vienna last week, after he had beaten Musetti in the first round.
