Munich Open: Hanfmann moves into second round
Yannick Hanfmann edged out Alexander Shevchenko 6-7 (6), 6-3, 7-5 on Tuesday and will play the winner of the match between Swiss qualifier Marc-Andrea Huesler and German wildcard Marko Topo in the next round

German Yannick Hanfmann edged out Kazakh Alexander Shevchenko, the No 8 seed, 6-7 (6), 6-3, 7-5 to advance to the second round of the Munich Open at the MTTC Iphitos complex on Tuesday.
Hanfmann, ranked No 61, will face the winner of the match between Swiss qualifier Marc-Andrea Huesler and German wildcard Marko Topo next.
