Munich Open: Daniel into second round
Taro Daniel won against Christopher O’Connell 6-3, 6-4 on Tuesday and will play the winner of the match between Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, the No 5 seed, and German Maximilian Marterer in the next round
Japanese Taro Daniel reached the second round of the Munich Open by defeating Australian Christopher O’Connell 6-3, 6-4 at the MTTC Iphitos complex on Tuesday.
Daniel, ranked No 85, will face the winner of the match between Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, the No 5 seed, and German Maximilian Marterer next.
