Dutchman Botic van de Zandschulp advanced to the second round of the Montreal Masters by defeating Serb Miomir Kecmanovic 6-1, 7-5 at Stade IGA on Tuesday night.
Van De Zandschulp, ranked No 25, will face No 9 seed Cameron Norrie next.
