Bautista Agut reaches Montreal second round, gets Brooksby next

Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut, the No 14 seed, moved into the second round of the Montreal Masters by beating American qualifier Marcos Giron 7-6 (5), 6-3 at Stade IGA on Tuesday afternoon.

Bautista Agut, ranked No 18, will face American Jenson Brooksby next. Brooksby, a recent runner-up in Atlanta, beat Alexander Bublik on Monday.
